Tales from the what?
No, you heard me correctly.
One of the basic axioms of a good survivalist agenda is to develop a ‘non-technology dependant skill set’. That way, if you manage to survive an apocalyptic event, something that changes the face of your reality entirely, you still have a value you can offer to whatever community manages to survive with you.
My non-technology dependant skill set of choice is baking/cooking.
Recently; due to extreme economic stress, I ended up needing to use those skills – A LOT!! Trying to throw something together with Food Shelf Fare is no easy task, believe me! There’s only so much one can do with 17 cans of peas and a bag of white rice. Thus, the WTF cookbook was born. Here I shall post my recipes that were born from the most desperate of circumstances – and yet turned out pretty damn good! Edible even! Heck, in some cases, these recipes have now become staples of comfort food. My favorite there is the Tomato Onion Soup. Enjoy!
